Many accommodations in Roatan result from adding extension after extension to an original island-style home.
After-the-fact expansion often results in a perplexing floor plan and challenging logistics for the property’s use. We have experienced firsthand showers larger than the bedroom, kitchens without running water, air conditioning only in one room, a kitchen built into a closet, and more.
We purchased this empty property with the intention of creating a small lodging accommodation with just a couple of beachfront rental casitas & our final home, providing us with a social hobby as we move into the retirement phase of our lives.

After deciding on Roatan, we spent an additional three years searching for the right property before purchasing this property.
We wanted to be very close to West End, but we were adamant that we could find a way to reduce the noise and congestion that comes with that crazy amount of activity, especially during the evening hours. Finally, we believe we have found the perfect location.
